Liz was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, and graduated from the University of Regina with a degree in Drama. After studying at a theatre school in England, she spent many years splitting her time between teaching and acting in both Regina (Globe Theatre) and Toronto, where she now lives. Liz's first book, Red Rover, was published in October of 2010, and called "a slick debut" by Margaret Cannon of The Globe and Mail. She also received a "Goldie Award" in the Debut Author Category from The Golden Crown Literary Society in the US. Liz is a member of Crime Writers of Canada and The Writers' Union of Canada.
